Who was the first to say "I love you"?

I wanna hear stories as well! For us it was him who said it first. I think we had been dating two or three months and during a make out session in his truck one night he said he couldn't hold it in anymore and just told me. Not your average romantic scene, but it was one of the happiest nights in my life. And of course I said it back, after making him say it once more so I could relish in it. I love our goofy relationship.  😜💕

Mine is a weird story...when my boyfriend and I got together he had recently gotten out of a bad relationship with a toxic person. He told her he loved her but never really meant it so he wanted to wait a while before he said it to me, because he wanted to really mean it. Now I'm not the kind of person who is good at hiding my feelings and not saying what I'm thinking so after we had been together for 6 months I told him that I thought I was in love with him but that I knew he wanted to take it slow so it was okay if he didn't say it back right away. And he didn't! I was actually heart broken and started crying and he had to hold me and reassure me. He didn't say it for almost another month. We were lying in bed and he just looked at me and said "You know I love you. Right?" And I said "Since when?!" 😂 He had known he loved me for a long time but waited soooo long to say it. Now two years later he says it all the time, like 50 times a day. That's my weird love story for ya.

I said it! We had gone to a waterpark for the weekend last summer and we were vibing and chilling in the car one night before going to dinmer and he gave me this loving look after I said something funny and it seemed like he was gonna say it but said, "I REALLY like you." 😂

At that point I had been ready to say it to him for the longest and just straight up said "I'm in love with you." He then got a look of relief and said it back lol

We talked about it months later and still to this day use it as an inside joke bc he said he wanted to say it but was nervous I didn't feel the same and choked so he said he likes me😂😂 it was so cute

He forced it out of me lol, was driving around and he said I have something to tell you and I said yeah I do too and he pulled over in this park we would go to and threatened to kiss my toes if I didn't say what I wanted to tell him. So I told him I was in love with him and he said me too and I think we started making out lol anyways that was many moons ago and we are married now :)

My boyfriend literally told me a week into our relationship. A week. And we hadn't even known each other a month at this point. (Keep in mind we did rush into things, but we were like 14 when we started dating.) And I was like "I really can't say that back. Sorry" and I felt like the cruellest person alive as I left him in his entry way and ran back to my dads car lol. But, a couple of months later, I told him I loved him. And we had been together for maybe a few weeks, mind you we had been talking for months before. But he left to go back home and he texted me while I was at work and said some thing like "that's what I love about you..." And I said "you love me?" And he was all "uhh.. yes..." And since I was at work I couldn't respond right away and he started panicking and I just responded back saying "I love you too."
