I'm so pissed. I don't know how to handle this. We've had our cat for 2 years. She's always been gentle. She was protective over me while pregnant. My son is 5 months. She's been great with him. He's going through a pulling tugging phase and she's always taken it. I always pull him off when I see him doing it. Well today he was playing on the floor and she was laying beside him. He starts his tugging and pulling. I go to get him off and the cat goes nuts. I expected if she ever got irritated she would just swat him. Well she did more than swat. She full blown grabbed his head and started clawing. He's got scratches on his face and shoulders. I put neosporin on them. I'm just shaking so bad. I threw her across the room. Not the smartest but I saw red. I'm seriously considering just throwing her out but she's never ever acted like that. I'm just so freaking pissed.
