So I've done some research online, from some probably not completely accurate sources, and I think I might have a septate hymen. The first time I ever put a tampon in, I was fine, because I think one of the holes is bigger than the other, but I freaked out when I took it out because the piece of skin separating the two holes was caught on the tampon and it was painful and not easy to move it out of the way so I could get the tampon out. Now I've been wearing tampons more often and it's been fine, but I've been noticing that I have 2 holes right next to each other, and one is bigger than the other but they still go to the same place. I'm a virgin but my boyfriend and I have recently been talking about wanting to have sex. Im worried that the hymen might tear and it would be painful, or that it wouldn't tear but he wouldn't be able to "fit" in the bigger of the 2 holes; even though it's bigger than the other it's still much smaller than it would be if I didn't have a septate hymen. I need advice !? What should I do about this? I need to be more educated, has anyone else had this problem? Thanks
