Tender lower abdomen close to ovulation?

Anyone else's lower abdomen get tender around ovulation? Almost the way it does during a period. I've stopped birth control after 6 years and 2 babies so idk what's normal and what's not.

Yes. I had the same pain while I was in the birth control that I got from planned parenthood. Then I went to the doctor because I couldn't bare the pain anymore and she prescribed another birth control ( the pill) and I haven't had any pain. I think it's just how your body reacts to the brand or the type of birth control
