should I tell my doctor ?

Hello I have had some period cramp questions for a while now. When I get my period the cramps are unbearable. Even when I take aspirin , midol , pamprin it kind of dulls the pain a little but it still hurts like hell. Most periods I can't hardly get out of bed without walking hunched over. If I don't take pills I end up crying in my bed. I guess the pain is different some days it's a sharp stabbing pain and some days it's like someone is punching me. I also have troubles in the bathroom that include constipation but mostly diarrhea and I go probably every half hour. I know this is detailed but I want to be honest 100%. So ladies what should I do ? Is this just normal ?
