Should people on death row be able to donate their organs?

I'm rewatching Grey's anatomy and the serial killer episode has me thinking- should people on death row be able to die in a way that allows them to donate their organs, if they so desire? I feel like they should be able to, why not make something good out of something terrible and save another life? As long as it's consentual. What do you think?

yes! I'd rather have my 4 year old take the lungs that sustained a killer than have to burry her in the ground like the victims of the previous owner. She would give those lungs a new life teach them how to breath right!

No because in prison inmates are at higher risk of getting hiv, hepititis and other diseases. They would not qualify as a donor. That being said, if they did qualify, rich people would already be manipulating the prisoners for their organs.
