My family lives ~2 hrs away & my sister recently hosted my bridal shower, which my MIL asked to invite her sisters to. Is it rude to ask my MIL to host a baby shower here closer to both of our homes & my work? My sister will still host one in our hometown, that's where my extended fam is. I know my coworkers would like to come, but probably won't if it's 2 hrs away. Plus my in-law's recently built a home I'm sure her fam would love an excuse to visit...
