Rejecting the phrase " I love you"
I have been with my boyfriend for almost 6 months and the other day I told him "I love you". He didn't say anything for a while then said "if that's the way you feel".
Then today I texted it and he replied back with "I don't think you should be telling me you love me right now. "
For me, I thought about what the term love means and I feel that it's appropriate to use the phrase.
Why is he denying my feelings? He said he wants to talk about it person but I don't see him for another few days. What are your thoughts?
