skipping bottle & how to get my baby to drink from sippy?

I have an 8 month old almost 9 month old she is strictly breast fed. I'm just gunna skip bottles and go to sippy cups but she has zero interest in them. Only wants the breast but eats baby and table food. Idk what to do, I have no problem breast feeding only but I'm feeling vibes that she should be starting to wean. Idk 😐 the thought of weaning makes me sooo sad.

Skip them too and use a regular cup or straw.

I bought probably ten sippy cups before I found one that she liked. She likes the straw kind. I have been giving her other cups with water in them while she plays on the floor to try and get her used to tipping it up and holding onto it.

Persistence is key! It took my daughter almost two months to get the hang of her sippy cup. The fight was well worth it. 😛 Also, just because she'll be using a cup doesn't mean that she'll be weaning. It's just for sips of water during meals, time away from you, extra hydration during the summer, ect. Most babies won't wean naturally until much after a year.

Personally I was in no hurry and followed my dd's lead. Weaning is between the 2 of you. Most don't wean that early even if she takes to a sippy cup right away.
My dd could impressively hold an open cup and drink from it long before she took a sippy cup. Even now at 2 she prefers the tap.
