When going to the bathroom after having the baby (yes even pee) get a chair to go in front of the toilet and put your hands on it, or put your hands on the front of the toilet seat and do a stand/squat over the toilet to go.  It was the only way I could pee in the hospital with how sore I was and how afraid I was to pop a stitch. My sister gave me this tip and it was a lifesaver!
