Biopsy Done On Baby - UPDATE

Kristen • Hubby & I have been together 10 years, married 11/8/14. Angel Baby - 10/22/15. Rainbow Baby Girl, Maggie, born 10-18-16!
Long story short....My little girl spiked a fever on 5/5, she was acting fine but they thought ear infection & we started Amoxicillin. On 5/7 these weird bumps showed up on her. 6 of them, all from the waste down. 1 doctor and 1 nurse practitioner at Urgent Care called them bug bites, 4 pediatricians don't know what they are, and an adult dermatologist isn't 100% sure either. Two weeks later & the bumps are still there. They're red, and the concerning part is the size of the lump under the skin. So after discussing the bumps with a dermatologist in Texas, our dermatologist has decided to biopsy them to rule out a few things. Lab work done on 5/17 showed no overwhelming infections....But the biopsy is being done to rule out Erythema Nodosum and Lymphoma. PLEASE send your thoughts & prayers out way. They say because the lab values looked good, Lymphoma would be rare, BUT it's still a possibility....I'm a nervous wreck.
UPDATE: The biopsy was negative for cancer! THANK GOD! The biopsy showed the 6 bumps were an inflammatory response to something, but they couldn't narrow down what. They said it could have been her ear infection, or it could have never been an ear infection and been a virus and a response to the virus, or a severe bug bite reaction. We're 2 month out from the bumps showing up. They've improved, 2 are gone, the rest are smaller/healing, but the one on her shin is still dark. They said if the bumps would ever show up again she would have to have a bone marrow biopsy to figure out why her body's is reacting the way it is, and why it's taken so long for them to go away. But, no cancer. Thanks for the thoughts & prayers!
