What if I miscarried and don't know!?!

Question

No symptoms, other than enlarged breasts, started gaining weight in the first 8 weeks, but I've plateaued. Went in for my 11 week checkup and they tried to hear a heartbeat on the Doppler and were unable to find it... Should I be worried?

I'm surprised they didn't do an ultrasound. Id insist on one. Hopefully you are ok. I bought a Doppler cuz I freak out too often.

I think you would have some idea if you had miscarried .  There is a lot of blood if you miscarry.  There could be something wrong but you would know if you were no longer carrying your baby.

Don't worry too much! My dr couldn't find the heartbeat with a Doppler at 10w6d but did an ultrasound and all was well. Just see if you can go back for an ultrasound! I bought a Doppler for home and now listen to the heartbeat once a day, which eases my worries. You can get one for under $50!

It could happen. That's what happened to me not too long ago. I miscarried around Thanksgiving and didn't even know it. Then I conceived again 4 weeks later with my Miracle baby. I hope it all works out for you. ❤️

I would ask for an internal ultrasound as I was the same as you and have just received the devastating news this morning. My baby hasn't grown for 6 weeks

My 2 cents is that it's not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes when they do a sound Doppler before 12 weeks it's very hard to pick up the heart beat bc the uterus hasn't left the pelvic cavity yet. So I wouldn't freak out too. However, That's a question that's best to ask your doctor/health care provider. Not sure that any of us here are trained to answer it.
