My boyfriend of 10 months didn't say I love you back he just said you too? Made me feel so small. It hurt me because I thought he did love me he will send it in text but not to my face?

I don't throw the "I love you" phrase around. I don't even say it to my parents because I believe it's a very VERY special set of words and that people abuse it. It took me a year to say it to my man (normally it would have taken longer, but we were living together too so we were closer than all my previous bfs).

He said it to me a few times before that. But he was patient with me. He's the only one I've ever said it to.

Don't worry about it so much. Your guy could be the same way.

Just give him some time. Silence doesn't mean he doesn't feel the same. When my bf wasn't saying it yet, he was showing me in other ways. Making me breakfast every morning before work, surprising me with little things, folding my laundry while I was out, etc. I actually thought the actions were cuter because he was so afraid to say it, but everything he did showed me he meant it.
