Everyone will fuck up in their job at some point, but this is the type of fuck up that there should be no coming back from. I am not familiar with the story and don't know exactly what went down, but if you kill someone who is not a threat to you, you should not be allowed to be a police officer anymore. There are really no excuses. If you can't handle it and do it correctly, then don't do it. She should not be allowed back into the police force.

I watched the helicopter video. You can't tell me that with what looked like four police present the only way to subdue him was a firearm. Even one of the men in the helicopter logically assumed they would use a taser. This woman should have at least lost her job, and should probably be in prison.
