Drinking Caffeine While TTC: Do or Don't?

Question

So my husband and I have only been TTC for a very short amount of time. Naturally I've been doing lots of research on what we should/shouldn't be doing to give us the best chances of getting preggo stat ;-). What are your thoughts on caffeine while TTC? How many of you out there are still drinking caffeine while TTC? Has anyone cut it out completely and then gotten pregnant right away? I'm curious about everyone's personal experience on this since there doesn't appear to be a general scientific consensus. I have not really cut back on my caffeine consumption and welcome opinions and experiences!

I continued to drink caffeine while TTC. The cycle I got pregnant, I was drinking like 5 cups a coffee a day and plus I drank a lot of Coke and Pepsi on top of that. Caffeine intake didn't hinder my ability to conceive at all. I also smoked cigarettes so I think everyone is different. I quit all that as soon as I found out I was pregnant though. Except I still allow myself to drink Coke or Pepsi as long as I stay under 200 mg.

I didn't cut out anything while TTC. I drank coffee and occasionally smoked weed. Quit weed when I got pregnant and still drink a cup of coffee a day. Caffeine up to 200 mg is fine when pregnant and id assume even more is fine during ttc.

I definitely did cut back (almost cut completely) drinking coffee. Never been a fan of soda/pop/soft drink/carbonated beverages (whatever it's called in your neck of the woods lol). I have a cup of coffee 1-2 times a week. I had a miscarriage and during that time when drinking coffee I'd cramp. Switched coffee for ginger root tea and have been feeling great this cycle!
