I had this happen and saw the doctor the next day, it was an appointment that I had scheduled two weeks prior, and asked her about this. We did an ultrasound and my ovaries were enlarged due to ovulation. I was in fact 6 weeks pregnant as well. I was instructed not to have sex for 2 weeks to allow my ovaries to recover. Your ovaries sit in the perfect position to get rammed during sex and when they are enlarged this can lead to pain. After 2 weeks it cleared up and I was fine to have sex again. Could be that...

It has happened to me before. I haven't actually found out why though! I haven't had a period in 83 days, so I don't know if it's connected at all!
