Last name problems
My boyfriend has a crazy long, complicated last name. He is Indian, and his last name has about 12 letters and I, even after 15 years, cannot say it properly.
We're finding it difficult to even picture names (we both like "white", traditional names) and nothing seems to flow nicely with his last name.
Anyone have any advice on how to work around long, ethinic sounding last names when you want to have a simple name?
Please note; he is the one who actually brought this up. While he is of Indian heritage he has lived in Canada his whole life, calls himself a coconut (brown on the outside white on the inside).
