hiding pregnancy till baby birth ?

So my husband and I want to tell parents and siblings at 8-9 weeks after ultrasound but we want to hide it from the the rest of the world. Well not hide it but we won't tell anyone unless they find out themselves. We don't hang out with anyone too regularly besides family and go to work. I don't want to call anyone or announce on social media neither do I want to have a baby shower until after baby is born. I just don't want to make it a big deal. Like I said if anyone finds out themselves, great. But even I'm on the phone with anyone I am not gonna mention it. I'm private, I don't want to jinx it as there are a lot of jealous people who I thought were "friends", also I don't want to hurt people dealing with loss or fertility issues or divorces and make it a big deal. Is that wrong to not mention it?

How would you feel if someone didn't tell you throughout? Yes I will celebrate with a big meet the baby party when baby is here but I don't want to show off my eggs before they hatch! What say?
