Do you let your baby hang in direct sunshine? (With spf on of course!)

I'm sure I'll get a ton of flack for this but we don't even use spf. Sunlight is good for us and many sunscreens are actually worse for you than going without. As soon as he starts looking slightly red we go back inside to prevent sunburn but that rarely happens as he has my skin and I don't burn.

We live in Hawaii, how can we not want to be outside? We sunscreen it up and pool/beach weekly. It's not direct sunlight for long periods of time but we love the sun.

We've been going in the pool lately now that the weather is nicer. I don't use  sunscreen if it's going to be no longer than 30 minutes.

I have three boys, 2 red heads, 1 blond, all super fair skinned. No way in hell I ever let them hang in the sun. It's just not necessary, at all. Protect your skin each and every day. My boys are used to wearing hats when they step outside and understand that sunscreen is necessary
