Pain Relief During Labor?

Question

What are the other medicinal and non madicinal pain relief options during labor? Other than the epidural. But, If you have experience with the epidural (good or bad), please share that as well! I'm leaning toward not wanting the epidural because off all the reading I've done, but I don't know that I can do it 100% pain medicine free. So what are the other options? TIA!

I had two all natural births and will always plan them that way unless surgery is needed. In my opinion, I do not need anything artificial pumped through my body to handle something that it was specifically designed to handle.  You can use hypnosis and meditation to get through it.

I had an epidural with both my children. 
First child they put to much in and numbed my entire body and I started to freak out becausei couldn't move, I was drooling and I couldn't feel myself breathing. 
They turned it off and I ended up delivering on nothing because they couldn't get it figured out in time. I felt EVERYTHING. I also had to have 3 blood patchs (they take blood from a vein and put it into the epidural site) over the next few days because I had spinal fluid leaking into my brain from them placing the epidural wrong.
Second child I didn't have complications from it being put in but it didn't take and only partially numbed my right side. So it didn't help with pain.
I'm pregnant again and I'm terrified. I'm. It eligible for the epidural because of all the past problems I've had with them. Wish me luck!

So I didn't want the epidural at all. I wanted to do it all natural but the nurses/drs convinced me to sign the epidural paperwork in case I changed my mind in the middle of everything. Thank god. I was 6 cm dilated with no pain but once the dr broke my water all hell broke loose and girl I do not regret getting the epidural and I'll be getting it for this delivery as well. I will say it only worked on half of my body so the pain radiated to my right hip and oh man, it was bad. They upped the amount and it finally spread and worked. When they went to put in the catheter (which I didn't have to get) I was 10 cm and it was time to push. Everything happened so quick but I'm glad I chose what I did.

Honestly I was 100% against epidural and truely did believe I could go thru labor without pain medication, but once those contractions started hitting me every 5 mins (I had back labor on top of intense pelvis uti type contractions) I HAD to do something and epidural was the best option. I had a great experience with the epidural and if I ever have another baby I wouldn't be able to labor without one. I was just very careful with how much doses I was getting. I could still move my legs and stuff and thankfully everything turned out fine
