When r u guys testing

Hey there,

Writing to specifically those with irregular cycles (sorry normal ladies). Just wondering when u guys do a pregnancy test. I did one on cycle day 29 and it was negative, i still havent gotten my period and it is day 31. Usually i am regular but ironically now that i have started tryig and actually give a crap i have gone all irregular. Last month I didnt get my period until day 37. My question is when do u guys take a pregnancy test if u are irregular?

I have become more regular in recent months (28ish days) but still get the odd cycle of 35+ that throws me off quite a bit. I've been trying now for nearly 2 years and have had 1 m/c I normally do 1 test every month at around 30 days and another at about 33 if af still hasn't shown up. I find that tracking cm helps me a lot to work out when af should be here but I still test anyway as when I had my m/c (pregnancy of unknown location treated medically at around 11 weeks) had I not tested when I did I wouldn't of know as I was still bleeding irregularly. I find that testing early can be really confusing as I've had a few faint lines in the past that looked like they were positive and ended up being evaporation lines. My advice if you are going to test early (lets face it it can be hard not to) use pink dye tests. And try to relax about the process as hard as that can be stressing and wondering throws your cycle out

Answer

My cycles last anywhere from 35-55 days (going through hormone testing now). I used OPKs, so I know when u ovulated and when I didn't. When I did ovulate I would test 10 dpo. It's the only way I know when to test :/. Hope that helps!
