I envy people who can believe in any kind of afterlife. I can get behind reincarnation more than I can get behind other afterline views.

Depends....I'm Buddhist, so yes in. My opinion. But what you reincarnate as depends on your karma. So insect, animal or person depends on how you live this life.

Energy is neither created nor destroyed. It has to go somewhere when we die. This for me leads credence to some sort of reincarnation therory. I think the energy passes on

I hope not, though if I did I'd be very curious about my past lives. When I was a little girl I had a very vivid dream that I was helping people escape Nazi Germany. We all spoke in German, which I didn't understand when I woke up. That would have been nice...

I think it's a possiblity. There's some crazy documented accounts of reincarnation.

I believe in afterlife as in Heaven and Hell. But I don't think we come back to earth. Maybe as angels on occassion but I don't really know. I do think the dead can watch over the living though, but from Heaven.

Also every religion has a version of this idea. Even Christianity. Dying and being reborn into heaven is the same concept.
