dumb question

But I started spotting today and cramping moderately, but AF isn't due until the 26. So I took a prey test just out of curiosity. It had been about a minute or two maybe and I didn't see anything so I tossed it in trash and washed up. About an hour later I went to go use the restroom and looked at the trash and saw a second line on that test. Is it there only because I moved it before the test was complete and I messed it up? It's a pink dye test and idk if that's better or worse for false positives? Anyone made this mistake before?😔
