Extended release metformin?

Question

Is anyone else using the extended release metformin?  My doctor switched me to it and in doing so my dose went from 1800mg to 1500 daily.  I'm noticing though that I seem to be gaining weight since I switched.  Anyone else have this?

I've lost three lbs! And my stomach is a little weaker on it but it's worth my ultimate goal!

I'm on it, I like it better. I am not having any of the gi symptoms I was having before and I am not gaining weight.
