working moms! when did you take maternity leave?

Hey ladies! I'm just curious, when did you take maternity leave from work? I'm 34 weeks and have said I'll work up to the week of, because I'm a workaholic! But now, I'm debating taking off earlier than that.

I am currently 26 weeks, I'm going to work at least until July 4th which I'll be about 32 weeks then. I'm hoping to go just a bit longer but I don't plan on working at all in August  (I'm due the 28th). But I'm not returning to my job after I leave so it might've been different if I only had maternity leave.

I'm only allowed to work up until 32 weeks (and I had to beg for that) because of my size.  I'm carrying twins so everything is much harder but my brain works fine... it's a little frustrating for me 😑

I'm 35 weeks and 3 days and I work at a daycare center. I'm honestly planning on working until my water breaks, or I go into labor. I'm only taking 6 weeks off, because unfortunately I don't get a paid maternity leave!

I'm currently 29 weeks, and have already planned with my OB and work (I'm a nurse) to be written out at 36 weeks. I'm counting down!

First I worked until 30 weeks.  The next one until labour.  This one will be until I go into labour too and I am back to work in a week.

I planned to work up to 39 weeks with my first, but ended up being induced early. I worked the day I was induced! We now have the option of 18 month maternity leave in Canada, so I may start a bit earlier this time around!
