what to do with unwanted baby items??

I just want to preface this with, we are very grateful for any gifts we get and know there are many people not fortunate enough to have caring friends/families that will take the time to send gifts.

BUT we got an unexpected package today in the mail with no return address, and in it was a pair of shoes with a college team logo on them and a blanket.

The blanket is fine, although we honestly probably won't use it. But for the shoes....my husband and I have absolutely no interest in sports, like whatsoever. So what can I do with these shoes I will never use on our baby?

Again, I hate to come off as ungrateful but we just really won't use these items and I would like to give them to someone who needs them.

Hold on to it until the baby's born just in case you find out who gave it to you. You don't want to be caught with your pants down. After that, don't feel bad about donating it. We donated a lot of things.

Thanks ladies! My mom told me who sent them (apparently a family member reached out to her last week about it) but I will still hold onto them for the time being.

Wait till you find out who they are from first.

If there is a tag on them, figure out which store it's from, and try to return/exchange them. If that's not an option, you can donate them, or re gift it to someone else

Regiftd to another mom for their bby thts wht i do i save the new stuff my son didnt wear and if i go to a bbyshower i regift it 😀  i do the same with my daughter birthday stuff ppl get her things tht r small so i regift them go my nieces r other girls brithdays i havnt bought my younger niece a gift in 3 years lol regifting is better then going to waste
