Trump wearing a yamaka

🌹

Trump visited Israel and the western wall today and wore a yamaka. Do you think this is practicing good diplomacy, or is it disrespectful?

I don't have an issue with people respecting others cultures or even adopting parts, depending on what it is.

But, this is a man who refused to denounce anti-semitism in the US, and, at least to me, seems to support Israel blindly to garner support and "brownie points."

I think it was nice of him to dress appropriately for the location, but based on his history, it still rubs me the wrong way to then turn around and act holy and sympathetic. What do you think?

EDIT: I understand that it was the respectful thing to do when visiting Israel, bit in light of his past actions (or lack thereof) does this change anything? What about visiting the wall?
