It's not something anyone can say with a poll. I'm not sure if you're asking for your own sake or just in general but it's 100% dependent on the relationship and the people involved.

I would say marry first, but there are benefits to both options. My main concern is that if marriage is something that you really want, if he's already getting all the benefits of having a wife from you, he may not feel obliged to actually make it official. I personally wouldn't want to fall pregnant without being married. Whatever you choose, just make sure you've set your expectations with your partner. For instance, you could tell your partner that mid 2017 you will move in, and by mid 2018 the wedding should take place. All depends on how important marriage is to you.

I got married, then moved in. I set expectations for kids, though. I told my husband that 1 year after the wedding, we should start TTC. He agreed. So just make sure that your partner is on the same page as you for the big decisions.

It's always a good idea to move in with someone to get to know them even better and also to get to know yourself more and how your habits work with someone else. Most people get divorced because they don't like some stuff while living together, something they could have prevented if they moved in first before marriage.

I was with my ex for 7 years, high school sweethearts. We dated for 4 years and finally moved in together and he should his true colors when we moved in. I was already 4 months pregnant and I wanted to make it work. We then got married... things took a turn for the worse. Now we are in the middle of a divorce and he had an affair during our marriage. I would suggest move in while dating, you get to see how they truly are.

This is whatever you feel is right. No one knows how far along you two are in your relationship or how much you have been through. There is no rule or law stating you HAVE to be married first to move in with each other. Hell 16 year olds get pregnant before graduation! This is your decision. If you feel it is beneficial to you as a couple, go right on ahead!!☺️
