Can provera cause false positive ovulation tests??

Hi all! I'm new to grow and am currently TTC for baby #1. I have had PCOS and been on BC for the past 10 years or so. My doctor gave me provera to regulate my cycles because I was pretty irregular. I usually take it for 7 days and about 7 days later AF arrives. Yesterday was my last dose of Provera after taking it for 7 days and on a whim I took an ovulation test. In the picture it's hard to tell but the test line is darker than the control line. Can provera cause false positives? Could I actually be ovulating? Thanks everyone!!! 

Also just to add I've been cramping just a little - not really normal for me but I'm not sure if it is ovulation cramps or the PCOS.
