Could I still take plan b ?

My husband and I had unprotected sex like always but he usually withdrawals, and he didn't this time. It was on Sunday night and I was 22% fertile? Am I still able to take the pill? And will it be effective ?

So I bought the pill , says I have 72 hours, well hopefully it works.

My nurse told me it's effective until 36hrs have passed then it becomes less effective

You can still take plan B! Plan b is not an abortifacient, meaning it will not terminate an existing pregnancy BUT will prevent you from ovulating to help prevent pregnancy. It is worth taking! 👍☺️

You can still get an IUD. It works better than plan b for up to 5 days after. If you aren't planning on ttc for a while it might be a good idea. Obviously it's only really something to do if you want to be on birth control for a while.

From what I heard plan b is only effective immediate 24-48 hours after. I would say it's a little too late but being low in fertility you should be okay
