endometriosis questions?

After the surgery will it be easier to get pregnant? My doctor thinks we should do the surgery and I'm really nervous,  I have never had surgery before. Also do sexual assault have anything to do with endometriosis someone mention it to me and I figured I would just ask if you ladies ever heard of that!

I have had two different types of surgery for endometriosis! I had it lasered off the first time which had no effect at all still in agony and unable to conceive! 2nd surgery was complete removal of the endometriosis (cut it all a way) and I am feeling great, no pain at all! 😀

I was terrified of surgery. We tried for a year, did four rounds of Clomid, finally had surgery Nov.18th. We had sex the next full cycle and I got pregnant. Not saying this proves true for everyone but it worked for me. I also recommend asking them to do the dye test while in there. It can be painful and it'll also open everything up. I literally bawled when signing the papers and scheduling it...and was so stressed about it I ended up sick the week before. I'm so, so glad I had it done, though! I'm 22 weeks pregnant with our first child!
