Nurse outed my secret!
Went to a baby appointment with my husband. Nurse says, so this is your second pregnancy right? I quietly say, "Not really." She keeps reading the chart and sees I was pregnant once before. My husband didn't know. It's a hard topic for me. One that only 2 other loved ones knew about, and I have a tight family.
My husband later asked if the nurse was mistaken. I told him the whole story. He was upset I hadn't brought it up before. We talked and worked it out. But the topic still hurts my soul. And being outed by a stranger was not my idea of how I would tell my husband- if I ever wanted to tell him. Although I'm glad he now knows.
My question is; Should I say something to the clinic? The nurse??
