I had an appointment with the paediatrictian yesterday and was told that my LO has a sever tounge tie. Because of his age (he turns 1 on 28th May) there's nothing they can do at the moment. They've said I'll have to wait until he starts having speech problems and then take him back for it to be cut. I breastfed him for 11 months, which has confused them because with a sever tounge tie I shouldn't have been able to!

Does anyone have any tips on how to naturally cut the tounge? They told us this was possible
