Is it too late to start breastfeeding?

My daughter is a week old today. I originally decided to not breastfeed because I chose not to with my first daughter. But am now considering it and was wondering if it's too late. Also welcoming any and all tips. Thank you in advance!

Definitely not too late :) get with a lactation consultant. Your baby will have to learn how to work for her milk..offer the breast, also with your bottles begin feeding her with a preemie nipple and pace feeding.

You can try had expressing to see if you still have milk. I would try putting your baby to your breast when she's hungry but not starving so she isn't frustrated fighting for food. I agree with the previous commenter, find a lactation consultant and get some pointers there. Good luck!

I'm not sure as I've never tried but.my guess would be yes. Has your milk dried up yet? And if baby is already taking a bottle then he probably won't latch on to your breast. I mean you can try or you can pump.
