I had a month similar to this and finally got a BFP two days after the spotting stopped. It ended in a miscarriage a week later. Spotting that long is not a good sign of anything.

How are you going now Ashley? I had problems with mid cycle spotting, I'd only have about 1 or 2 weeks every cycle where I wasn't bleeding. Extremely frustrating!! I've done hormone levels tests, ultrasounds and a hysteroscopy. Nothing was found that would cause it. I think it was just my body getting used to life after the pill. Have just had my first month  without spotting in a year! I'd recommend going to see a doc if it keeps happening to you.

Honestly it doesn't look like you actually ovulated. Hormonal imbalances can cause spotting.
