Pregnancy: The PCOS Miracle?
Hello Ladies,
I am the proud FTM to a beautiful baby boy. For three years I struggled with PCOS, prior to conceiving sometime in May or June if last year. My son was born early, at 27 weeks in December 2016.
My cycle has always been irregular. Four months postpartum (I am EBF, but pumped for the three months we were in the NICU), I had my first postpartum period. Exactly one month later, I am again on my period.
For those of you with PCOS, who have had a child, or who know someone who has had a child, did PCOS go away after childbirth? Or was it just the symptoms? Temporary or permanent?
I want to have more children, but we are still a bit shell-shocked, having just come home from the hospital with our son in March.
