I'm a strong believer in innocent until proven guilty. So believing that someone is guilty when they're arrested corrupts our justice system and can cause unfair trails... just my two cents

Not always. Sometimes they arrest the wrong person. They go through court, are found guilty and spend years in prison before it's found that they actually aren't guilty at all. I've seen it happen a thousand and one times on forensic files.

Can't say but my brother just went through a case and fought it because he wasn't guilty and wasnt going to accept the plea bargains they kept giving him because it meant not seeing his kids and him doing probation and giving up his rights. The judge got mad he didnt take the plea the first time and put a restraining order on him against his kids and lied to him saying that my whole family was also on the restraining order and couldnt see his kids. He brought my cousin with him when it happened and she heard the whole thing. When I told her we had the kids she got mad because she was under the impression we were on the restraining order because thats what the judge had said. I looked at the order when my brother showed it to me his name was the only one on it not mine or any or my family's. We have some pretty shitry judges as well because i went and saw the judge my brother was dealing with. His whole i cant tell you what to do or give my opinion thung at the beginning but then gives his opinion on every case which aleays started off with " in my opinion" or "if i were you i would do blank" but it was to take the deal. Turns out at my brothers trial he was found not guilty unanimously.

They are usually found guilty, legally speaking. About 95% of criminal charges brought end in guilty plea deals. Whether that has more to do with our unjust criminal justice system that incentivizes pleading guilty even if you aren't than that those people are actually guilty, I don't know. I think it's a mix.
