CONVERSATION ABOUT WANTING A BABY

Di

Diana
I've been with my partner nearly a year, we've talked about wanting to have kids, only til January  we were careful not to get pregnant but since we do it carelessly but we haven't had a conversation that we are actually trying to be, and I have been let's say "obsessed" to get pregnant, done everything I suppose to do but I'm not getting pregnant. It's first time ever I'm trying to get pregnant I'm 31 and healthy. I feel I want to ask him if we together can start planning but I don't know how, if it's the right time or put him under pressure, if any one has any views or opinion, will be appreciated. Thanks

If you want a child than you should talk to him about it. You need excellent communication with each other to raise a kid, and what better way to start than seeing how he feels about actually trying. Good luck to you both!

Just ask. My husband and I discussed the topic of having a baby for a year before we even tried so the sooner he's aware of your intentions the sooner you can put a plan in place.
