I do a feed wake sleep pattern to his day. My son is almost 6 weeks so he smiles now. Most of his wake time I spend trying to make him smile. Before he smiled I talked to him, walked around while holding him, laid him on his mobile activity mat, showed him books, walked outside, but the thing he spent the most time doing was staring at the big windows in our living room. lol. He couldn't even see that far but I think he likes the bright sunlight.
