Surgery during pregnancy! I need advice please!

Hello ladies! I need some advice. I have a cyst on my ovary that keeps twisting my doctor wants me to go in for surgery to remove it but I am scared about the anesthetic. Have any of you had surgery while pregnant and everything was okay? I will be 13 weeks tomorrow and she wants to do it on Monday. TIA
