timing
My husband and I are TTC, but every time I'm fertile there's something going on. This weekend it's camping with his whole family. This year I can't go because of my work schedule, but he wants to go because he only gets 3 weekends off in the summer (memorial, independence, and Labor Day weekends) because he works road construction.
I honestly want him to take advantage of the time he has off, but it sucks trying to get pregnant during the worst time of the year.
Side note: due to him being gone May-November, I want to plan for his lay off time for the extra help. He doesn't see it as an issue, but he doesn't realize how difficult it is to go through labor and the first few months by yourself. I realize women do that all of the time, but if I have the option, why wouldn't I want him home to help. This would make us wait another year if we don't get pregnant by next month.
