I don't trust him to do the dishes correctly or to take care of himself when he's sick or to refrain from antagonizing the cat . . . But I trust him with everything important :)

That's the foundation for a relationship. You can build things on top of something unstable but its only a matter of time before it breaks.

Maybe but the paranoia will kill you from the inside out. Trust me, it didn't hurt our relationship until I was consumed with paranoia which screwed up our totally wonderful relationship. Biiiiiig time. Turned me into a nut!!!!

I don't trust my husband w one thing and it's because he has ocd over it. But as far as money, fedelity, pretty much my life...I trust him 100% but I can say that the trust I don't have does rly make it hard sometimes. We're working on it though and we have both come a long way in learning about ourselves and growing n deepening our bond. But this is a huge case by case situation.

Trust should be the foundation. If you don't have that, then what do you have? I'm not sure if it's you who doesn't trust,both of you, or him. How would you feel if the person you loved, didn't trust you? I say either go to some type of counseling or do yourselves a favor and break up so you both can move on.

Relationships have a foundation. Think of your relationship like a tower for a second, now picture the foundation 1 part trust 1 part loyalty. It they are both good then your tower won't fall. However if there is a break or if one part is absent that your tower can't possibly stay up.
