So we were torn between naming this little guy with the family name since he's a firstborn boy or using the name we'd come up with on our own. At the last minute we decided to go with the family name. Hubby thinks that we should just use our chosen name for the next one now if it's a boy. I think it's weird and kind of lazy, like a name hand-me-down haha. I think we should come up with a new one. What do you guys think? Would you use a name that was supposed to be for a previous child? Side note, all our family and friends knew about the name too, and thought up until the last minute that our little guy was going to be called that, so I think that would make it extra weird.
