Did you use a stethoscope to hear babies heartbeat while pregnant?

I'm 28 weeks, and work in a medical office, with good stethoscopes.  I still can't hear the HB.

I used my stethoscope around 20 or 21 weeks and only heard my own. Imma try again around 25 weeks though.

You have to put a cup over the end of the stethoscope so it makes the sound bounce off and clear. Its hard to do before like 15weeks though..

My husband tried when I was about 20w and he couldn't hear anything. We haven't tried since. It will also depend on how much fat you have too.

I tried it and could never get it to work. There's a chance that the stethoscope I was using was busted....

I know that they used to do it like that. I just had no luck.
