low progesterone and hypothyroidism?

Just had fertility testing and it showed low progesterone and hypothyroid. Has this happened to anyone else? My doctor can't call me until Wednesday. What does this mean and what treatment will I need?

I have congenital hypothyroidism (born without a thyroid) so I've always known that being able to conceive can be difficult. I actually just had my blood work redone last month and found out I needed an increase in my Synthroid, while my Cytomel medicine stays at the same dosage. I go back for a recheck in 4 more weeks. I've had one miscarriage at 17 and a successful and very healthy pregnancy at 18. Now I'm 30 trying for my second baby. As long as the doctors properly manage your thyroid, there definitely is hope.

I have a thyroid issue. This is my 3rd and most successful (lost two) pregnancy. We're at 18 weeks and so far so good.  This time around dr had us come in the day we found out we conceived again and put me on progesterone for the first 13 weeks to help the pregnancy progress.  It can be difficult to conceive/have a successful pregnancy with a thyroid issues so it's great your dr is aware and will start getting your body the medication it needs. It just means they will place you on Progesterone for 10 days a month to boost your hormone level. Probably also put you on a Thyroid medication like armour thyroid or synthroid.

I have low Progesterone, but no thyroid issues (that I know of). Thyroid knowledge is from my mom. Lol

Hypothyroidism is when your thyroid glands don't make the hormone its supposed to and they are more than likely going to give you a medicine called synthroid which is a synthetic hormone and it should help your body regulate and made the hormone it needs to, usually the treatment is for life and you usually have 3 month check ups to test your levels. I was diagnosed April of 2015 with it, my level was 7.6 when a normal level is 5.0, I just recently had an appointment and have finally gotten it down to 1.3 
A big heads up, when I started treatment I was 136,  6-7 months later I was about 160-170
I am now 196
It causes weight gain which may cause them to have to change your dosage
