So I got my nexplanon inserted the day before yesterday. I just unwrapped it and am keeping a bandaid on it for a few more days. Just like the good ole' doc told me. But she didn't tell me when it becomes effective. So am I supposed to wait a week before it protects me or what? Please help. The handout she gave me doesn't talk about it....
