Sex before marriage.

So my fiancé and I were discussing raising our future kids and what our attitude towards the kids having sex will be. Conversation got hot, he mentioned that he would want his daughters to remain virgins till marriage because it makes them better respected by their husbands.

I'm completely irritated by this because omg we ARE having sex. If this is his view, doesn't that mean he doesn't respect me as much as he would if I were a virgin?
