Never testing??

Question

My husband and I have been TTC for 6 months.. 4 months in women cycle time since I'm irregular. I fight pregnancy testing and haven't done any ovulation testing, etc. I'm too scared to really "try" and fail.. anyone have any insight of when they started actually "trying" and not just stopping prevention? What methods worked for you?

My husband and I got into fights because I would get so frustrated if he didn't want to have sex when the ovulation test said I was most fertile. The month I let it go and didn't fuss about it was the month we got pregnant. If trying but not trying is working for you and you're in no hurry then I would take the layed back approach.

OPK kits worked well for us, but there is no harm in using those tests to help you get to know your boy and cycle better. I learned so much about my body using those things. Baby dust to you
