Okay so I've been dating my boyfriend for a year and I love him so much. His birthday is next month and he wants to get two huge tattoos on both his arms. When we started dating he only had one tattoo on his chest which didn't bother me cuz it was covered when he wore a shit. Then during our relationship he got two more tattoos on his forearm about adoption which are pretty big. It really bothered me but I didn't say anytbing because it was about his adoption and I think that's special. But now he wants to get two huge tattoos on his biceps and that's honestly an issue for me. I don't want the person I'm dating/ going to marry to have a shit ton of huge tattoos. I'm not a fan of tattoos and my family is very judgemental of them, and it's gonna be really hard to hide those tattoos around them. I just don't know if I really want to be with someone who has tattoos all over their arms. Is that fair ?? I love him so much and I really wanna marry him but this is really an issue for me. Is that a reasonable deal breaker ? Or am I overreacting ?
