great news
Yesterday I had my 12 week appointment. I was unbelievably anxious going into it. I have been watched closely since becoming pregnant since I have endometriosis and thy didn't know how or where the baby might grow. I had my first vaginal ultrasound at 6 weeks and they said the heart beat was low and I'd need to go back. Then I had another ultrasound at the end of 7 weeks and the heart beat was stronger but then they said I had what they thought was a c section scar (actually from my laporoscopy for my endometriosis) and so I needed to switch to an actual OB instead of the midwife. For the whole 12 weeks I've just been anxious and worried and thinking can I actually handle if something is wrong. Then yesterday I met with the OB. He was super wonderful and told me and my husband that everything sounds great and the scar is actually of no concern and is not effecting my uterus. He then gave us the ultrasound and baby was jumping and waving and bouncing all over the place. The heart rate was even higher and the blood pressure was strong and healthy and perfectly spaced. He said everything seemed perfect and great. He also said the placenta is in the back which is great so seat belts or bumping anything won't hurt the placenta. After yesterday I'm finally starting to feel happy!!
